Questions people ask first.

If yours isn't here, email hello@coupletalk.co.

Does my partner see my answers?

No. Each partner answers privately. Only the synthesized joint report — which contains scores, themes, and prompts — is shared. Free-text answers are deleted after the report is generated.

What if my partner won't take it?

Either take the Solo version yourself ($19) for a personal report, or buy the bundle and take it whenever they're ready — your link doesn't expire. We also send one polite reminder email after 7 days.

How long does it take?

About 18 minutes per person. The joint report is generated within 24 hours of the second person finishing.

Is this therapy?

No. CoupleTalk is a structured assessment based on established frameworks (attachment theory, Gottman, Prepare/Enrich) and synthesized by AI. It is not a substitute for professional therapy or counselling.

Will the report tell us to break up?

No. The report does not give a verdict. It surfaces gaps and gives you the language to discuss them. What you do with that is up to you.

What if we're engaged or married?

The test was built with couples 6 months — 5 years in mind, but it works equally well for engaged and newly married couples. The 5-year-future domain becomes especially relevant.

Can we re-take it?

Yes. After 90 days you can buy a re-test for $14 and see what's shifted. Many couples use this as an annual check-in.

How is my data handled?

Free-text answers are deleted after report generation. Scores are stored only to enable the 90-day re-test comparison. We never sell data, never share with third parties. Full detail in our privacy policy.

What if I don't like the report?

Email us within 14 days and we refund — no questions, no forms. Almost no one does.

Do you support same-sex couples?

Yes. Every question is gender-neutral.
